Harris—a man of unwavering integrity, a true gentleman, war hero, humorist, and gifted storyteller. As a proud representative of the Greatest Generation, he taught me the importance of respect and kindness, always putting everyone he met at ease.Jack’s remarkable work ethic left a lasting impression on me throughout my life. He often reminded me that no matter the job, giving your best effort is what truly matters. Inspired by his values, I created WORK, a branding agency built on the belief that our end product is our reputation.At WORK BRANDS, a division of WORK, we honor the dedication of workers across all professions. History
WORK BRANDS grew out of WORK Labs - a Richmond, Virginia based branding agency founded by Cabell Harris after years of creating award-winning campaigns for national agencies and clients. WORK Labs built its reputation on strong strategy, disruptive creative, and the belief that the best brands live their values. Early on, we didn’t just create branding for others—we practiced what we preached. We branded ourselves, producing WORK-branded products as an extension of our creative philosophy: it’s all about the work.
Over time, those products took on a life of their own. People wanted the beer, the coffee, the hats — not just as merch, but as badges of identity. That demand became the seed for WORK Brands: a dedicated space for everything WORK, created for the people who believe that work is more than a paycheck—it’s a craft, a community, and sometimes, a good punchline.
